Which stylist for which look

Find the stylist whose work looks like yours

Each of us has a look we do most. Read the cards, then book with the stylist who fits. Not sure? Book a consultation and we will match you.

  • Summer Palmer, owner and lead colorist, in a charcoal smock at the studio

    Summer Palmer

Owner · Soft balayage on dark blondes

    • Cosmetology license · SC Lic. # 000000

Summer opened Tawny for clients who want color that still looks good at week ten. She does the studio's balayage consultations and works most with dark blondes, light brunettes and anyone going a shade lighter in small steps.

  • Minnie Blount, senior colorist, seated in a styling chair in a denim apron

    Minnie Blount

Senior colorist · Rich brunettes and gray blending

    • Cosmetology license · SC Lic. # 000000

Minnie blends gray into brown and black hair with soft lowlights, so the grow-out has no hard line. She is the stylist to see for deep brunettes, espresso tones and a gloss that catches the light.

  • Jonathon Pitts, colorist, at the color-mixing station with a bowl and brush

    Jonathon Pitts

Colorist · Gloss, tone and caramel dimension

    • Cosmetology license · SC Lic. # 000000

Jonathon is our tone specialist: warm chestnut, caramel and honey-brown glosses, and the toner visits that keep them from turning brassy. Book him between color days or alongside a balayage.

  • Xochilt Tejada, colorist, in a navy chambray shirt, seated on a rolling stool

    Xochilt Tejada

    Colorist · Babylights and face-framing

    • Cosmetology license · SC Lic. # 000000

Xochilt paints fine babylights and face-framing brightness for brown hair that wants a little light without a big change. She speaks Spanish and English.

Soft grow-out

Why lived-in color grows out softly

Three habits in every plan keep a hard line from showing at the root.

  • The root stays close to you

We keep a little of your natural color at the root, so new growth blends in instead of lining up under the color.

  • Light is placed by hand

Balayage and babylights are placed section by section, so brightness moves down the hair with no rows or edges to grow out of.

  • Tone is set last

A gloss or toner sets the shade at the end, and your stylist plans the next visit before you leave, often a few months out for balayage and sooner for tone.

What clients say about their color

“I came in with a box-dye line and left with color I could skip a few months on. Minnie talked me through every step first.”

Dana W.

“I wanted lighter without looking blonde. Summer showed me where the brightness would sit before she mixed anything.”

Camille R.

“Jonathon's gloss is the reason my caramel still looks warm at week eight.”
